About Liana
Terminal 4 has a quiet of its own after the last bank of arrivals, and Liana is very good inside it. She is 167 cm and slim, with long chestnut brown hair worn straight and brown eyes that are unhurried in a way airports never manage. Her clothes are plain and expensive looking without announcing it: a dark dress, a long coat, a small bag. She crosses a hotel lobby as though she has a room upstairs, which is the only real skill worth having in a building like that.
Late twenties, English speaking, discreet by instinct rather than by rule. She does not ask what you do unless you offer it, and she does not repeat anything, ever. She reads on the tube and will tell you what it is if you ask her.
Hatton Cross sits one stop short of the terminals, which is the entire point of it. The hotel at Terminal 4 is joined to the building by a covered walkway, so a guest with a morning flight never has to step outside at all, and she can be there three minutes after stepping off the Piccadilly line. Dinner is downstairs or brought up. She lives in Marylebone, and the line from there is a solid fifty minutes, which is why anything at the airport runs three hours at the minimum with travel counted in.
Layovers, late arrivals and early departures are her natural ground. The Hatton Cross page has the practical detail, and booking is the quickest way to reach her.

Booking Liana
Airport evenings run three hours at £700 as a minimum, travel included, and she prefers to know your flight number rather than your guess at a landing time. Overnights before an early departure suit her best.
Every figure she works to is printed on the fare board, and the four steps from message to doorbell sit on the booking page.

An evening with Liana
Nine in the evening, the lobby at Terminal 4, and a woman who does not look like she is waiting for anyone. She will already know whether the kitchen is still serving, because she checked on the way, and she will already have decided which end of the bar is quieter.
The rest of it is unhurried. She is good at the specific tiredness of somebody who has been in the air since morning: fewer questions, a slower pace, no expectation of brilliance from you. If the flight out is at six she will set an alarm without being asked and she will be gone before the corridor fills with suitcases. People book her twice for that reason more than any other.
Liana, on the record
Q.01Why Terminal 4 rather than a hotel in town?
Because the walkway means you never go outdoors, and because at eleven at night a car into London and back out again is most of your rest gone. Sleep matters more than postcode.
Q.02What do you need from me?
A flight number, the hotel and the room number once you have checked in. That is all, and it is confirmed over a message beforehand.
Q.03Are airport evenings dull?
They are calm, which is different. Nobody is trying to be seen. I find people are more themselves at an airport hotel than they ever are in a restaurant in town.
